Keeping in mind selfless service to humanity in the hour of need, Revered Guru Ji (Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan) has founded a specialized disaster relief and welfare agency called Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing.
In times of distress like during the Orissa cyclone and Gujarat earthquake, the need for such an agency was acutely felt, and thus an organization with suitably trained man power to handle such exigencies was founded in 2006.
This organization of selfless and fearless volunteers was mooted to lend their hand of help during disasters and large scale humanitarian projects.
In the above picture, you can see volunteers of this agency dressed in uniquely designed brown uniform raising their hands to salute in honor and joyously celebrating the birthday of Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj, dated 25th January 2007. This is also the sacred day to re-pledge their dedication as they pay respect to Revered Guru Ji (founder) and all of humanity.
Numbering nearly 70,000, this unique endeavor comprises of experienced doctors, qualified engineers, trained rescuers, paramedics, electricians, masons, reconstruction workers and people from various trades required in humanitarian aid projects. Annual renewal and training is also conducted for members of this welfare force wing.
This organization has been indulging in helping in times of natural calamities whenever the need arises, since its very inception. This Wing also works towards eradicating evils like feticide, drug addiction etc.
Regular and ongoing blood donation camps are another important exercise where this wing has made a mark for itself in this world. It is internationally reputed for its enthusiasm to serve humanity.
